The recruitment to the Staff Selection Commission to soon be conducted by the National Recruitment Agency.A Common Eligibility Test (CET) to be conducted for all Non-Technical and Non-Gazetted (Group B & C) posts under IBPS, RRB and SSC.

SSC CHSL Notification 2021-2022 CHSL Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission will start the SSC CHSL 2021 exam recruitment from November 6th 2020. As per the latest calendar released by the commission the date SSC CHSL Exam Tier I is April 12th 2022 onwards. However, the official notification is yet to release.

SSC CHSL Notification

The official website of the SSC releases the notification for SSC CHSL every year. The notification for SSC CHSL exam for the year 2022 will release by November 2022. SSC CHSL Posts

The SSC CHSL vacancies 2022 counts to 4893 SSC CHSL recruitments for the different SSC CHSL posts in the Indian Government.

All SSC CHSL posts made available through SSC CHSL exam carry AISL -All India Service Liability. This means that the candidates selected for any post may be asked to serve anywhere in the country.

SSC CHSL Eligibility
Those candidates writing the SSC CHSL Exam this year must thoroughly understand the eligibility criteria. The SSC CHSL Eligibility criteria are as follows:

Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of India, Nepal, Bhutan
Age Limit: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 years to 27 years.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern.

The SSC CHSL Exam is conducted in three stages or tiers. The following is the basic outline of the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern:

SSC CHSL Syllabus
The SSC CHSL Syllabus covers a wide range of topics on a variety of subjects. The syllabus for the SSC CHSL Exam may vary from tier to tier.
The syllabus for this year’s exam is as follows:
Tier I: The topics in this section will be related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language.
Tier II: This is a descriptive exam where a candidate’s writing skills will be put to the test. Candidates will be asked to write applications and essays on various topics like Economic reforms, national securities, etc.
Tier III: This tier consists of a Data Entry Speed Test & Computer Proficiency Test. This test is compulsory for those candidates who have applied for the post of DEO and DEO (CAG).

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tier I
As already mentioned above, the SSC CHSL Tier I is a computer-based exam conducted online. Candidates are given a total of 60 minutes to solve SSC CHSL Tier I paper comprising 100 questions that count to a total of 200 marks (2 marks each question). For each wrong attempt, candidates are penalized with 1/2 marks i.e. 0.50 marks which were 0.25 marks in the previous year recruitments.

Note* – the time limit of 60 minutes to complete the SSC CHSL Tier I examination is extended by 20 minutes i.e. total 80- minutes are given to PWD candidates.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tier II

Candidates who qualify Tier I exam are called to appear for SSC CHSL Tier II. The Tier II of SSC CHSL Exam assesses the English/Hindi writing skills of candidates, which is why it is a descriptive type of test. The questions asked in the Tier II paper are based on 10th standard concepts.
The written test of SSC CHSL Tier-II comprises an Essay writing of 200-250 words and Application/Letter writing of 150-200 words. The minimum marks that candidates need to attain in Tier-II exam is 33%.
The SSC CHSL Tier-II test is of 100 marks and the total time allowed to candidates for completing the test is 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates who are visually handicapped or suffer from cerebral palsy).

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern Tier III

The SSC CHSL Tier III comprises a couple of skill tests which candidates need to qualify to get selected to certain government posts. The final merit list of candidates selected for the CHSL exam is prepared after this skill test. The skill test for SSC CHSL includes:
Typing test for 15 minutes duration in which candidate must have the speed to write 35 words per minute (English Medium) and 30 words per minute (Hindi Medium).
For VH – visually handicapped candidate (40% disabled), 30 minutes is provided for this test.

SSC CPO Syllabus 2022-2023

SSC CPO exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit candidates for SI/ASI posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed police force.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern

SSC CPO examination has four different phases that a candidate has to clear in order to get selected for various posts Central Police Organization.

SSC CPO Paper I is an objective type Multiple Choice Question paper. The Physical Eligibility Test or PET/PST is conducted to ensure that a candidate is physically fit to be a part of the nation’s police force.

SSC CPO Paper II is a descriptive English Comprehension Test to check candidates’ understanding of English Language while the Medical Test is conducted to check that the candidate is able-bodied.

SSC CPO Salary –
The basic salary for SSC CPO is Rs. 35,400 and the gross salary is Rs.47,496. The SSC CPO salary structure along with various government positions has been upgraded after the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission. The pre-revised grade pay was Rs. 4200 in the pay band of Rs.9300-34800.

The SSC Central Police Organization recruitment is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.

SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 & Exam Pattern For Tier I, II, III, & IV

SSC CGL Syllabus Tier I
As per the SSC CGL exam pattern, the CGL Tier 1 exam is an online, multiple-choice based exam. The exam consists of 4 sections having 100 questions in total. The total marks assigned for Tier I exam is 200. The duration for the Tier I exam is 60 minutes (80 minutes for differently-able candidates).

SSC CGL Tier-II Syllabus
As per the SSC CGL exam pattern, Tier II will have 4 papers-

  1. Quantitative Aptitude– This will have 200 marks in total. The time allotted for this paper is 2 hours.
  2. English Language & Comprehension- Total marks is 200 for this paper and the duration to complete the paper is 2 hours.
  3. Statistics– Again candidates have to complete the paper in 2 hours carrying 200 marks in total.
  4. General Studies- Finance & Economics– This paper will have 200 marks and 2 hours duration.

SSC CGL Syllabus Tier III

As per the SSC CGL Exam Pattern, the Tier 3 Exam is a subjective paper that will be taken offline via pen and paper mode.

As per the SSC CGL Tier III syllabus, the exam is to evaluate the candidates’ language proficiency, grammar knowledge, vocabulary usage, and writing skills in English/Hindi. Candidates are expected to write essays, précis, applications, letters, etc. The duration of the Tier III exam is 60 minutes.

SSC CGL Syllabus Tier IV

The SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam comprises skill tests that are required for certain government posts. Candidates who secure at least the minimum qualifying marks in the examination (Tier I, II, III) can appear in the Skill Test.
